Description TGC Search is partnered with a top mechanical contracting firm in the Hartford Connecticut area looking to add a Chief Mechanical Estimator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed bids and attending pre- and post-bid meetings while building strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed bids for mechanical projects.
• Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings to represent the company and ensure project alignment.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project scope and requirements.
• Work on projects across various sectors including industrial, commercial, healthcare, and educational. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience estimating projects up to $5 million in process piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with competitive bids, negotiated estimates, and design-build projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical piping, airside systems, and related trades. Skills:
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Self-motivated and a strong team player.
