organization. DescriptionEHS SPECIALIST:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety and
environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify
and mitigate hazards.
- Lead and manage incident investigations, determining root
causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and implement safety programs and policies to promote a
safe working environment.
- Provide safety training and education to employees, ensuring
awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management,
emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS
considerations into operations and processes.
- Track and report EHS performance metrics, driving continuous
improvement efforts.
- Maintain and update safety documentation, records, and
compliance reports.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts, including conducting
drills and updating emergency response plans.ProfileEHS SPECIALIST:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local safety
regulations.
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits,
and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop and implement safety programs and
policies.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering safety training
and collaborating across teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate
compliance documentation and reports.
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment,
understanding unique operational challenges.
- Proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement
of safety and environmental practices.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour or CSP (Certified Safety
Professional) are preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing emergency preparedness and
response plans.
