• Assist in translating system requirements into compliant firmware-based designs.
• Experience in FPGA (preferred) or ASIC Design / Development
• The ability to follow a design process and conduct design / peer reviews.
• Architect complex solutions using VHDL (preferred) and or SystemVerilog/UVM.
• Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado or Intel/Altera Quartus.
• Digital simulation using Modelsim/Questa
• Working knowledge of internal logic analyzer (ILA/chipscope/signaltap)
• Familiarity with static timing analysis tools and timing closure.
• Experience with clock domain crossing techniques.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces like SERDES, PCIe, DDR2/3/4, LVDS.
• Familiarity with revision control (GIT, CVS, Clearcase, Subversion, etc.).
• Test and troubleshooting of sub-assemblies, working in a lab environment.
• Experience generating scripts (Perl, Tcl, Python, shell, etc.)
• Provide support to Systems Engineering at the next level.
• Interface with other Engineering disciplines.
• Lead/Mentor a team of junior engineers.
• Understand the importance of Cost Management and maintaining Budget and schedule.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related field Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance4+ years of experience in FPGA or ASIC Design/DevelopmentExperience with VHDL and or System Verilog/UVMPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  An Active Secret Clearance (Active within the last 2 years)Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado or Intel/Altera Quartus.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
